Our services are available to all migrants resident on the
Northern Beaches.
The Settlement Grant Programme supports newly arrived migrants, humanitarian entrants and refugees during their first five years of settlement:
- Orientation programme – helping migrants to participate in Australian society and lifestyle
- Community Development – encouraging migrants to develop a sense of belonging within the local community
- Casework – assisting migrants on a one to one basis, providing support and referrals to appropriate services.
- Advocacy – empowering migrants to understand their rights and responsibilities through cross-cultural education.

Multicultural Community Advisory Service (MCAS) provides information, support, counselling and advocacy services for people over 65, people with a disability and their carers from diverse cultural backgrounds. We help people to:
- better understand and manage challenges and difficulties relating to ageing, disability and/or caring;
- use services and resources that can help them;
- maintain their health and well-being; and
- stay active and independent in their home and community.
The service is free and professional health care interpreters can be provided.
